Held on Tuesday, 7 May, the 2019 Research Excellence Awards at the Pavilion, Old Government House celebrated the theme of The future world of work: Te ao mahi ā mua. CSF member, Lecturer, Dr Xuyun Zhang from the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering was one of the six deserving recipients of an Early Career Research Excellence Award. Each recipient of this award receives $25,000 to acknowledge early career research. Dr Zhang has shown excellence in their research and leadership potential. The award is judged and supported by the University Research Committee.
