Professor Steven Galbraith will be presenting a public lecture entitled Cryptography after quantum computers, as part of the Gibbons Lecture Series. Professor Galbraith will briefly survey modern cryptography and indicate which current systems are potentially vulnerable to quantum computers.
The Gibbons Lectures is an annual series of talks run by the School of Computer Science, University of Auckland in association with IT Professionals New Zealand (formerly the New Zealand Computer Society) and Auckland ICT Graduate School.
